These photos are of a recent project in Tadworth (Surrey) where the design brief was to secure planning and building regulations approval to remove the existing conservatory to the rear of the property, design a single storey rear extension that would be bright and spacious, where the whole family could spend time together. As you can see from the photos we opened up the existing house to the extension, vaulted the ceiling and flooded the new kitchen-diner with natural light by installing bi-folding doors and large velux rooflights.
On a recent visit to the property the client confirmed that the project was a huge success as the large open space tends to be where the whole family spends most of their time.
